Mentorship, Oversight & Consultation
Mentorship
The CEO/OT maintains a mentorship relationship with team members. Guidance is provided based on clinical experience, using an Occupational Therapy frame of reference. This takes into consideration many client factors, such as the impacts of sensory systems and the environment on performance.
Oversight
The CEO/OT provides oversight to ensure goals are addressed and progress is made.
Consultation
Consultation is provided by the CEO/OT. The team at Flourish also has the ability to consult with the Peer Support Specialist, who is a community-dwelling adult with Autism.
She provides insight and perspective based on her own experience and understanding of how disability and neurodivergence impact engagement in activities.
